My dad has always spent his free time climbing mountains. He spends several years in planning his route, listening to the weather report and finding the best maps, and he really likes a good challenge. As soon as I could walk, he started taking me with him sometimes. At first, he used to carry me on his shoulders. Later on, I had my own little boots and I followed him up the easiest slopes ( 陡坡 ). I can still remember how happy I was when we set off.
